Born in 1989, Jennifer D. Kamish (Jen) grew up in Pittsford, a suburb of Rochester, New York. Throughout her childhood, she was always creating...from drawings, poetry, and collages to building miniature model airplanes and Lego amusement park rides.

 

Alongside her primary role as an academic advisor for engineering students at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Jen has continued to develop her interests in writing and art.

Currently, she is also teaching for RIT's Department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

 

Jen lives with her wife, Kelly, their kid Jo, and four overzealous cats.
